The Sleeping Finish Recording of “What It Takes”
THE SLEEPING has just finished recording their third album What It Takes at Salad Days, Baltimore, MD with producer Brian McTernan (Snapcase, Hot Water Music). The album will be mixed start of January, and is scheduled for release on February 17, 2009.
The band will be shooting a new video at the start of the year in Los Angeles before heading out on the road for their U.S. tour with FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND.
Frontman Doug Robinson notes:
“We have made our songs so much more energetic, and lyrically it is some of the best I have ever written. I I know a lot of people out there need the truth that they’re about to get from this record. Working with Brian has been amazing. We’ve learned a lot from this experience about ourselves as individuals and as a band. We’re all super stoked to just start playing these new tracks for people.
