Killswitch Engage Announce New Album, “Major Tour” Plans
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE announced today plans for the recording of their as-yet untitled fourth album for Roadrunner Records. The album will follow 2006’s As Daylight Dies, which is approaching Gold-status.
For the first time in their career, the band will work with an outside producer and have chosen Brendan O’Brien (AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam) to man the boards. KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, a noted producer in his own right who has recorded all of the band’s previous albums, will be taking a co-producer role on this record alongside O’Brien.
The band will record in both Georgia and their native Western Massachusetts. Roadrunner expects to release the record in Spring 2009.
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will spend the winter recording the album and will hit the road in the Spring for a major pre-release tour. Look for more details on that in the near future.

I wonder how pussy this record is going to be. Watch Howard do a duet with Amy Lee or something. Each album they go softer and more clean vocals.

Dude I live next to Adam here in Massachusetts and to go through what he went through for the past couple years with his back, and for him to still be playing and touring, is an amazing thing. I’d love for one of these pussy ass death metal bands who have their vocalists sounding like he’s taking a mean shit, have one of their members do that. But no, they won’t, because all they do is have their members in a constant rotation. So all you people that bash hard-working bands, no matter what they may do with their records, fuck you. Get a life. Get out of your parents’ basement and maybe see the sunlight for once you fucking lame ass keyboard ninjas. Get a real job maybe. An apartment, no your parents houses. Good plan, right?
