Grammy 2009 Nominations
Heavy metal veterans JUDAS PRIEST are up for two Grammys for tracks from their album Nostradamus.

Wait so according to the Grammy asshats Slipknot is more metal than Judas Priest……
“Please read the letter” ain’t the name of the album. Its called Raising sand.
Its the song thats in nomination. Great album
oh my god who the hell cares
haha just dont post a news when you dont know what the fuck your saying…
once again
Where is trivium?
I think what Grammy dudes think is that Slipknot sounds “metal”. For today’s standards, metal ain’t what it used to be 20 years ago. Whether you like it or not, Slipknot sounds way more heavier, or “metal”, even in most of their soft songs, than Judas Priest. Of course it’s hard to label Slipknot, as they touch so many genres, but metal in general should suffice…
i can label slipknot, blew out my voice on iowa(which is by far their best album) and everything after has been stonesour lt
I don’t give a shit about any of these.
As long as Colbert and Carlin pull off wins, the Grammys will succeed.
Disturbed – Inside The Fire
Judas Priest – Visions
The Mars Volta Wax Simulacra
Mötley Crüe – Saints Of Los Angeles
Rob Zombie – Lords Of Salem
I could not give a flying fuck about the grammys, but it really is baffling that those five pieces of shit bands are a) considered “hard rock” and b)are apparently the best out there, according to whoever votes on this garbage
Since when was Slipknot metal???
what about the jonas brothers?
