Billy Corgan’s SMASHING PUMPKINS have debuted their video for “G.L.O.W.”. The song has been recorded specifically for Guitar Hero World Tour, marking the first time a band has recorded a new song exclusively for the Guitar Hero franchise which was released afterwards.

Buckethead recorded “Jordan” specifically for Guitar Hero 2…so yeah, Smashing Pumpkins aren’t the first ones to do it.
And yes, Rock Band > Guitar Hero.
