Metallica Pick “All Nightmare Long” as Next Single

METALLICA will squeeze in one more single before the calendar hits 2009. The band says via their website that “All Nightmare Long” will be the next offering from Death Magnetic. However, the exception of this single release will be in North America, meaning you’ll have to purchase the Euro digipak edition of the album in order to snag it legally.

The digipak of Death Magnetic features the album version of the song along with live versions of “Wherever I May Roam” and “Master Of Puppets” recorded in Berlin back in September. There are also variations on the release that come with the tracks “Blackened” and “Seek And Destroy,” while another release comes with a DVD featuring a 10-minute documentary on the band’s show in Berlin, live performances, and a 15-minute movie of the group in the tuning room at the Rock Im Park show earlier this summer.

If you were expecting (or hoping) for another Puppets or Justice, then you shouldn’t be taken seriously.
