iwrestledabearonce is quite fucking awesome. any chick who has pipes better than most of the male vocalists out there is worth hearing. not only that they have a fantastic sense of humor which is needed in metal, and btw…angie from arch enemy’s voice is just discusting….thought ide mention that before someone brings up the “chick screams” argument

Hahaha, dick lives up to his name. This band is the epitome of all that is wrong with “the scene”. Their “sense of humor” is derived from being 100% out of the loop as far as good, real metal is concerned. Those “discusting”(sic) Arch Enemy vocals are in the Carcass/old-school DM style, something this band knows absolutely nothing about.

I would pee in the chick’s butt.

However, being ironic for the sake irony is entirely unappealing. This band is bland and unmoving.

Yeah, this band is unexciting, but I wish actual good bands had as much fun as these bunch of scenesters. I mean, maybe Amon Amarth could dress up as clowns for one video and make out with each other or something? I’d buy that for a dollar!

  16. Tribulator says:

This band is some sort of joke, right? Following the “DEP Book of Song Structure” and playing away from it occasionally with them there rad techno beats? The music isn’t ironic, it’s just a sad chapter in experimental metal. It has absoluetly no fucking feeling, does not convey anything to me other than “Look at us! We’re mixing together random shit to make a song!”. Century Media seems to identify that the youth of today want shit that makes no sense so that they can say to the people who hate it “You just don’t get my music!”

A tip for the band: Give Lux Occulta’s The Mother And The Enemy a listen before you record this album. It’s an essential listen for what you’re trying to achieve. A blend of Death/Black/Thrash metal along with Trip Hop, Industrial, and PsychTrance. While it’s not perfect in every realm, it still remains the greatest achievement in the field.

Just don’t copy it fucking blatantly or you shall be forever known as “Icopiedtheshitoutofluxoccultainanattempttolookcuttingedgetomyprepubescentfanboyzthezistoshowhowcuttingedgeweareyeahduderadtotally”

  19. Smorgasmorgue says:

wow…this band really does suck. lol. It’s just random genre mixing with shitty deathcore/hardcore shit to it. When it comes to genre mixing I perfer Solefald to this utter shit. Also, setting Arch Enemy as a standard for female vocals in the first place is a bad idea. She really sucks at those.

please see: Fuck the Facts, you know a real grind band with a chick vocalist. Or the everso amusing Japanese band: Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation

The whole irony on purpose thing is reallllly annoying.
