I live in Austin and we have been getting hosed on concerts since the late 80’s. All the big groups go to San Antonio which is 85 miles south of Austin and the big groups know that they can always get 15-20k per show. Go to Austin and they get 5-10K at best. Other than Rush last year which sold out, Austin has not had a bad ass lineup at the Erwin Center since Metlallica opened for Ozzy in 87.
