The Blast Off Drum Competition Goes Digital

The world’s first digital drumming competition for extreme metal drummers, judged by metal drummers.

The Blast Off Drum Competition has gone digital and will be a regular feature in Sick Drummer Magazine. Kicking off on November 1, contestants will create a 3 minute (or less) drum solo video and upload it to a location to be specified within the November Issue of Sick Drummer Magazine. The videos will be judged by:

Dave Culross – ex-Malevolent Creation, Suffocation
Adam Jarvis – Misery Index
Elliot Hoffman – CarBomb

Judging will be based on 8 different characteristics of individual playing and the winners will be announced in the January issue of the magazine. Check your details.
