Mike Patton & Serj Tankian Contribute Song for ‘Bodies Of Lies’ Movie

Industry stalwarts Mike Patton and Serj Tankian teamed up to contribute a song, titled Bird’s Eye, for the Ridley Scott film Body Of Lies starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. The track was written specifically for the movie.

Director Ridley Scott and composer Marc Streitenfield helped create the song and wanted an interesting voice to be included on the track. They reached out to both Mike and Serj. Both were interested and the collaboration was put together. Serj is quoted as saying “Patton is a good friend and always invited to any party I’m in” when asked about collaborating with Mike.

The song is streaming on Serj’s MySpace. Body Of Lies is in theaters on October 10.
