Suicide Silence Cover The Deftones

Embracing their nu-metal roots, California-based deathcore act SUICIDE SILENCE have posted their cover of the DEFTONES track “Engine No. 9” online over at their official MySpace page. It’s good to see musical trends come full circle.

Awful. Just … goddamn awful.
Yes, that is fucking ridiculously awful but you know what is more awful, calling Deftones nu-metal. I can name you a handful of nu-metal bands who played the same crap over and over and never invented themselves and progressed but Deftones are not on that list. They might have came up the same time when all of that started but they seperated themselves from it by writing original music. You guys really take yourself a step down when you formulate your “dumbass” oppinions into news.
