THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have posted the following update:
“Ben Weinman has been holed up like a mad scientist blasting out the furious DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN insanity that will eventually find it’s way onto our next release. When Ben says that the stuff he’s been writing has actually been giving HIM a headache, you know it’s gonna be pretty intense.
We have no touring plans for the immediate future, but you can be sure that we’ll take a break from writing at around the halfway point and head out for some quick runs, so that we don’t lose our minds(probably too late).”

dillinger is NOT emo… they have a few pop-ish songs yes…. which kick ass and they are still crazy as hell… and slayer = most over rated band ever.

DEP sucks now. Their first album was pretty good, the second one had like 4-5 good songs. The most recent one sucked cock and balls at the same time. Just gobbled it all up. The new album will probably be balls too. And Slayer still fucking kills after all these years.

Im with coma on that one. which is a first. Not only can are they amazingly technical, they can, unlike say, beneath the massacre or psyopus (both bands i enjoy,) write a well structured song. And christ are they good live. And slayer sucks now.
