dude disturbed is ok…like that other guy said they are a gateway band if u want real music listen to all that remains…and not their overcome album that one sucks get their old shit like the darkended heart & the fall of ideals…the guitarists are epic and phil’s a badass screamer they blow disturbed out of the water

Disturbed is a good band until you hear their stuff too much and it all blends together. I have an easier time telling apart whitechapel. Calling disturbed one of the best bands of the the and age is foolhardy, if your talking about metal. They rehearse what they do on stage and that is wicked lame imo. They are a great intro to metal band and without them i might not be into metal.

Disturbed is one of the best bands in this day & age. They’re keeping Metal where is belongs & as true as it should be. Along with the rest of the bands that will be on this tour…Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, etc., all of these bands are their own bands with their own distinct sounds. None of them are copycats of each other like all the rest of the crap that is everywhere today. This tour is going to be the kick ass of the year.

Being a fan of disturbed and seeing them a few times in my life, also seeing them recently, each and every album after sickness and believe, becomes more commercial. Although the last 2 albums were decent they are losing their edge. But you know one of the greatest metal bands, being Metallica, lost their edge a while back, but they are still putting music out and making mad money. I don’t see any mention of Chimaira on this post. This band deserves such respect, dealing with all touring and label problems, put out one of their best albums to date. They are just getting better with age. Anyway if i go to this tour, it will be only to see them and disturbed. Five Finger Death Punch? I was supposed to see them at three concerts, hopefully they show up this time. Killswitch engage? well lead singer has a good voice but ive seen them at least 4 times and they don’t get me too pumped up. Ill be chillen, smoking during their set.

I know that this post may be a little late but since when has a band had the same sound throughout their entire career? No band ever sticks with the same sound throughout their career. Every band changes their sound, lyrics or appearance in their career to keep them “fresh” or in other words they do what appeals to the public to get some more doe or they change their sound/feel because they want to progress their genre or music. If bands kept the same as when they start then how would they sell more albums/make more fans? You can’t get more fans doing the same old shit. So, bottom line, bands change so listen to what you want and stop bitching when they take their sound in a new direction.

Hey, whats up. Last concert I went to was Motley Crue, Crue Fest in Boston, Mass, before that I saw Bullet For My Valentine in Hampton Beach, NH, never bled so much in my life before. I love moshing and the new line up for next years tour has been altered due to Devildriver’s previously commited tour dates, which confilct in the spring of the upcoming year.
Line up as of today:
- Disturbed (Seen them twice, both, orgasmic)
- Killswitch Engage (Seen them one, sick motherfuckers, look up videos of them talking on stage, they went on tour with lamb of god, scary shit man)
- 5 Finger Death Punch (Now here is where I feel the magic happening in this fucking tour! Go out and buy The Way Of The Fist album by these guys, so good. I saw these guys with Disturbed at Mayhem fest and also a smaller show, the first time I saw them I was like “wow this is going to be gay, what a fag name” so I made the fucked up choice of sitting down for them, bad decsion, these guys fuck shit up on stage, at mayhem fest it was all seating, people were lucky. . . .Anyway what im trying to say is that this band is going to be one of the best in the world, their music is so fucking heart pounding and their meanings make me cry, when i see this tour in Portland, ME (DISTURBED YOU PROMISED YOUD COME BACK!) Im going to fuck people’s lives up, DO NOT MISS THESE GUYS!)
- 36 Crazyfists (Recently toured with Disturbed, must be good live to recieve a reinvite from one of the best metal bands in the world, these guys are taking Devildrivers place, would rather see Devildriver play Clouds Over Califorina live, but hey, KSE, Disturbed, 5FFP, all in the same in, gizz, in, my, pants.)

ok to cleear this all up disturbed is far from nu metal. they are metal, sometimes heavy depending on the song. Their first two albums were sweet, ten thousand fists was alright, but i dont get how you can call them bad after indestructible came out. normally i only like a few songs on a cd, but there isnt a single bad song on indestructible. sure they dont scream, doesnt mean they arent metal. disturbed is absolutely amazing live, put on a hell of a show. seen them 6 times. they should be respected. i love disturbed, i love KSE, i love Trivium, I LOVE METALLICE, i love all types of metal. so take it from me when i say disturbed is amazing because ive heard my fair share of metal
