AVENGED SEVENFOLD and SHADOWS FALL will team up for the following dates next month:
September 6 – Huntington, WV @ Harris Riverfront Park
September 7 – Baltimore, MD @ Ram’s Head Live
September 9 – Quebec, QC @ Pavillon de la Jeunesse
September 10 – Montreal, QC @ Metropolis
September 11 – Toronto, ON @ The Sound Academy

Does anyone over 16 actually like these bands?
Shadows Fall = good
Avenged Sevenfold = rubbish
I’m 34. (Yes, I have my own home.) Got the last two Avenged Sevenfold albums…myeh. They’re okay, I guess. That whining, surfer-punk voice the vocalist uses gets on my nerves. I appreciate the guitar work more than anything. It wouldn’t be the end of metal if they never made another album.
They’re names are juvenile, that’s for sure.
Shadows Fall, on the other hand…Sweet Mother….those guys are incredible. Musically, lyrically…I really like them.
So, what, am I the only guy over 16 that’s into Shadows Fall?
hell no man. im tuning 28 in a few days, and shadows fall is my favorite metal band these days. i think they are on par with Pantera, and the good, old, Metallica.
i stumbled across this tour, because i would LOVE to see them live (the “live in japan” album is AWESOME). i live in WV, and saw that they are hitting Huntington this weekend… perfect timing!
then i saw that they were there “supporting” avenged sevenfold… who i think sucks. i cant bring myself to pay the fee, and drive 3 hours, to see a short Shadows Fall set.
if they would match up with some similar-styled band (hellyeah would be great), i would be more than happy to drive down and pay the fee. avenged sevenfold… i think they are pretty much hated by real Shadows Fall fans. wtf are they thinking?
