MySpace Secret Show: The Offspring
Friday, August 1, 2008
In the ongoing not-so-secret MySpace Secret Show performance set, THE OFFSPRING will make a rare club show appearance in their SoCal homeland on Sunday, August 3 when they play Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. This is the first time in almost three years that the band has headlined a show in its native Orange County. The Secret Show is a free, exclusive performance for the MySpace community.
metal news?
I wish I lived in California right about now.
You guys should change the name of the site to SRMN News. SiN’s Rock and Metal News. then tell ppl to stfu about the name.
and if you truly only care about death metal, guess what boys and girls, you’re not in high school anymore (unless you are) and there is no such thing as posers (unless you’re in high school). people can listen to what they enjoy, and odds are, people that listen to metal also listen to other varieties of rock.
I, for one, appreciate the fact that i get offspring news on this site. If i only got twu metal news, i probably wouldn’t check and post on this site bi-daily.
Don’t forget the Wu Tang Clan and Gnarls Barkley news frequently posted too.
thanatos
i agree
thank god someone is saying it
I agree 100% Thanatos sir. Well put.
I am an Offspring fan, but this is not metal.
wow take off your dresses guys and start growing some testicles. so whats if its not metal
plus, SRMN sounds kinda cool… and it’s ironical
so what if its not metal? THIS IS A METAL NEWS SITE. Would their be Meshuggah news on a punk news site?
yknow, i was gonna write out this long explanation as to why it’s okay for us to get punk/rock news on this site, and why it is indeed unlikely to get metal news on punk news site…. but fuck it… i’m just going to say this:
qq more nubsauce
i dont consider offspring punk
i don’t either, but that was the example steve gave, i was just goin with it…
Guys, music is music. And in our case, it’s all fucking rock and roll at the end of the day. If any of you morons had any brains, you would realize that many (and often the best) metal bands draw influence from multiple styles, genres, and artists. Grow up, open your mind a bit, and maybe realize that there is good music outside of metal.
Or just huff and puff some more about how BM/DM/etc bands should only be featured on this site.
