Comments on: Slipknot ‘All Hope Is Gone’ Album Art Revealed

I’m a younger slipknot fan, when i started listening to slipknot i listened to their self titled album while All Hope Is Gone first came out. I just got All Hope Is Gone a week ago and i’ve gotta say, it didn’t even have to grow on me. I love all their songs on this album and on their self titled album (i haven’t gotten any others YET) they’re a great band no matter what people say. I’ve heard a lot of talk about how this latest album makes them sound too much like stone sour. I’ve only heard a few Stone Sour songs, but i can say right now they’re completely separate in their styles, regardless of the band members shared.

Agreed all hope is gone is one of those albums that grows on you however, the best album they’ve produced to date in my opinion is their selftitled (mate feed kill repeat) the anger is more heartfelt you can hear the pain in coreys voice it, alot of old wounds were re-opened and im sure the rest of them were feelin it too, they were all pissed off they wanted the world to know and they acheived that, altho ima massive fan of all hope is gone some of the tracks have gone to political

Psychosocial is the best god danm song ever made by this band…..and All Hope is Gone is their best album by far.

I agree with both the above posts, the album grows on you, when i first heard the 30 second clips i was a bit sceptical but every song grows on you, dead memories especially, give it a listen and keep on listening and you wil love it

sick kid is right, i have the album i i think its thier best. The more i listen to it the better it gets, even the tracks i thought id hate i love.

i got the album. at first i was like…only 80% is good. but the more and more i listened i was like F^k YEAH! I then noticed i related a lot more to it. if you don’t have the album you will find out. for those that do i am sure you understand.
