The Showdown Prepare for “Back Breaker”, Norma Jean Tour
Tennessee’s metal contingent THE SHOWDOWN is proud to announce the release of their upcoming Solid State Records debut, Back Breaker, due out on August 19.

Vocalist David Bunton commented on the new album: “Back Breaker is the sum of our band’s raw power, aggression, and total dedication to heavy metal. It’s all about our band getting what we do live on tape. Back Breaker is the record The Showdown made when we stopped caring about anything but heavy metal. If a riff is heavy, you don’t have to over think it. Just let it crush you. We are 100% dedicated to heavy metal and pushing ourselves to playing it as loud and rude as possible.”
