The 25 Best Heavy Metal Bands?

Yahoo! has taken a stab at the The 25 Best Heavy Metal Bands in their list of the day. Do we agree? Not really. With PANTERA at #21 and AEROSMITH at #8, something is definitely awry. Credit goes to inclusion of MESHUGGAH and MERCYFUL FATE. Comment for yourself after reading the list here.

Not the worst list I’ve seen…a few good bands in there but of course Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin are at the top of the list. Anyone could predict that.
But of course, it’s Yahoo. Does anyone really expect them to make a definitive list?

Sabbath deserves #1 and Priest, Slayer,Pantera Meshuggah, Metallica are all right.
I would have thrown in Lamb of God. But thats just me. They filled a huge void in my life that was left by the demise of Pantera.
kyuss should be higher on the list.

Well they got number 1 right but thats about it. To have LedZep Kiss and aerosmith above Pantera is just a joke
Too bad there are only a couple metal bands on the list…
Just because he died doesn’t make his band better than fucking “LedZep”. Tool.
