The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Rakes in $311m

The new Indiana Jones film has more than recouped its budget after estimated global box office sales of $311m (£157m) in just five days.

Released 19 years after the last film in the series, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cost a reported $185m (£94m) to make.

Paramount Pictures estimated the film has made $151.1m (£76m) in North America, plus $160m (£81m) overseas. The first three Indiana Jones movies raked in $1.2bn (£607m) worldwide.

    its obvious that nothing will ever be as good as raiders but this was a very respectable movie. everything you would expect from an IJ’s movie. In my opinion fucking amazing
