Most melodeath and modern hardcore has a thrash influence whether all you purists want to believe it or not. So while they might not be thrash bands, the thrash influence is present in their music. Very few true thrash bands exist these days anyway. Would you really expect a tour consisting of Kreator, Sodom, Testament, Destruction, Dark Angel, Forbidden, Heathen, and Nuclear Assault with Slayer as the special headliner? Get real.
