Ballet Deviare’s Memento Mori featuring Gwynbleidd Confirmed for May 23-25
BALLET DEVIARE has experienced a myriad of catastrophes and tragedies within the past two years. Two years of dealing with institutions concerned with death or recovery-hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing homes, hospices, etc. The result of all this pain is reflected in the newest BALLET DEVIARE production, Memento Mori.
Performances of Memento Mori are scheduled for May 23, 24, and 25, 2008, at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in New York City, including three world premiers by NEGURA BUNGET, FUNERAL, and a new song from NYC’s black, death and folk metal band, GWYNBLEIDD. GWYNBLEIDD will be performing live for the production and includes a track from their forthcoming release. The ballet will also be performing to CELESTIIAL, japanische kampfhoerspiele (JaKa) and ARSIS. Seating is limited and tickets will go fast.
