Ozzfest 2008 a Smaller, Shortened Package
Insider speak is alluding to a much trimmed down OZZFEST 2008 packaging due to the bubbling Rockstar Mayhem Tour, which features several alma mater of the Osbourne led money maker. Texas, for instance, is rumored to see only one tour date scheduled within its borders – for Dallas.
With STP and SEVENDUST focusing on other headlining ventures, who will fill the void? OZZY OSBOURNE is virtually guaranteed to step in to headline this summer’s shortened date set, and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will undoubtedly fulfill their obligatory role on the main stage. The question is, will KORN carry on their current support role for Osbourne, or will Sharon stump up for a proper support act (Metallica)? Don’t be too surprised to see a few names on the bill for bands that have already done a stint on the summer tour in previous years, and of course…some random acts.

Dimmu didn’t enjoy ozzfest last time they did it. Highly doubyfull imo. And they just finished 2 US tours don’t think they’ll come right back for Ozzfest
I dont expect much. Other websites seem to believe it won’t tour, or expect 2 or more dates in select cities. I fear the lineup will be a load of crap.
