Well at least no band I ever gave 2 shits about will be wrapped up in this pile of crap this summer!
Please excuse my little rant here but…..
I have never and still will never go to a Warped tour. Its all trend following bullshit every year. And as a metal head very embarrassing. It used to be all pop punk, now that thats dead, its all poser metalcore and emocore bands.
I also cant stand the younger crowd that shows up for this. They dress up with thier fucked up haircuts and tight girl pants. And last but not least the hardcore dancing, my god. My thirteen year old sister was talking about how these kids were hardcore dancing at a my chemical romance concert, and how cool it was. I still cant beleive real hardcore kids like at a Coverge show for instance, still flop around like these little kids do now. So embarrassing.
Im afraid if i went to this 13 year old fest which i wouldnt cause all the bands suck. But when the kids are hoping around and 2 steping next to me. I would be forced to go slayer style on everyone and get kicked out.
So I say Fuck Warped tour forever. Announce some Ozzfest bands already!!!!!!

mc101 Not that it matters, but i am almost 50 and I go see things like this. I have seen a bunch of concerts and I can tell you, if I let the crowds affect my experience at a show, I would have stopped going to concerts 20 years ago. I just want to see people play music. I do my best to block the crowd out, and concentrate on what is happening on stage.
However, i am not sure about this tour. Seems to me there are alot of bands (which is good) so set times are going to be really short (which is bad). I’ll probably skip this and shell out for Gigantour for now.

excuse me?? Poser bands? Yes, some of those bands are posers/fake playing something other than music. But in defense of one: The Horrorpops. HOW are they posers? Most people going probably havent even heard of them yet they’re absolutely amazing. And the crowd? It’s a newer generation doing what they do. As an 18 year old, i think disco was crazy (not sayin that’s your age group). So you think moshing is crazy *shrug* welcome to the world of diversity. Yay Horrorpops! :D See you in Scranton.
jesus christ does nobody know what real music is anymore? the same shitty bands play the mainstages year after year plus 100 more horrible bands that either wear make up or sing about being straight edge. protest the hero and the bronx are awesome, and my jaw dropped when i saw dillinger listed but of course they aren’t playing any of the CA dates so fuck it this tour is one big fat smelly vagina that faggot scene kids with big hair eat up all summer long
