My Children My Bride – Unbreakable
So another day and another metalcore CD sits on my desk waiting for me to review. This time it comes courtesy of
Unbreakable starts off promising enough with some tasty double-guitar melodies but they quickly make way for a fast tempoed attack of screeching courtesy of vocalist Matthew Hasting on the song “Faithless.” The six-string harmonies are still found throughout the track but they are ultimately overshadowed by the rest of the instrumentation. The band doesn’t do much to distinguish themselves from their counterparts anywhere on the record. It would be easier to overlook if they had the songwriting chops to compensate for the lack of original ideas. There are few bright moments, like the guitar work of Kyle Ray and Robert Bloomfield on “Headshot,” but they sound stale due to the weak mix by Adam D. of Killswitch Engage fame. Hopefully the band spend more time honing there songwriting skills before they bother entering a studio again.

I Just Bought This CD Today 4-24-08. It Is A Awesome CD I Would Recommend It To Anyone That Is A Hard Rocker, And Enjoys Christian Metal.
whoever did this review is a FREAKING MORON!!!! apparently all thhis person does is sit around all day and tries to review cd’s but in the end this person SUCKS at reviewing cd’s, here is a review for your review buddy, go find another day job because you don’t know anything about metal or anything close to it, how about getting off your lazy butt and attend a show or 2 and how about attending a My Children My Bride show and tell them what you think because I know a whole bunch of people that won’t put up with your crap so why don’t you just shut the hell up and waste someone elses time with your crappy reviews, stupid retard! MCMB ROCK!!!!!!

I find it amusing how almost all the bands that get reviewed here put out the same boring music, yet one band will get 8/10 and another clone will get a 3/10.
I HOPE THIS BANDS TOUR BUS FLIPS 63,00 times.
You have no right to judge a band as amazing as MCMB. If they are such a shitty band then why are they selling CD’s? Huh? Answer that one for me smart ass. Oh and you fall way short not only in your pants, but also in your job. I mean seriously, just because you have a shitty job and/or don’t get paid enough…… THATS YOUR OWN PROBLEM JACKASS! If you ever come across MCMB and actually listen to how they perform and who they are, then you would regret writing this review and you would most likely feel like the jackass you are!
It’s funny to see all the lame comments you all leave on this guys band review. No one here knows the first thing about good music and should probably focus more on keeping your day jobs than judging the way this guy writes his band reviews. MCMB isn’t bad, i like them. But the fact of the matter is, in a few years no one will care for them and different types of music will replace them. The fact that you freakout over music so much is also pretty pathetic. Also, im sure someone will freak out over what i just wrote, proving my point that most of the people responding to this review are idiots who need to keep their lame comments to their lesser selves.
I haven’t listened to this band much but from some of the songs I’ve listened to their pretty good. I’m really looking forward to the show at the Corner Stone church on Saturday. I can’t wait to see them and the other bands playing with them. The opening band is showing lots of promise to. I hope to catch you their my fellow Huntsvillinites.
P.S. Loucifer’s mom will suck for a buck. =P
i think u most definetely let your personal opinion disrupt your “review.” so next time when you “attempt” to write a decent review keep your mind open because a music review doesnt revolve around YOUR opinion its a summary of a cd, fact, what the thing acutally does. so..i think i dissing this cd is far from a review (:

and i think they are very successful musicians
in the extent of them creating something that they like and not nessessarily what the mainstream likes ^.^
