Ok, I understand that Jester Race, Whoracle, and Colony was some of their best work. I have no argument about that. But how many fuckin times do you want them to remake those albums. It is the natural progression for a band to evolve as they grow older and put out new albums. If they kept putting out albums that sounded exactly like Jester Race, Whoracle, or Colony, people would say that they need a new, fresh sound and quit remaking their first three albums. So obviously no one is going to win this discussion but I still felt it neccessary to put out a point of view that I feel isn’t as obvious. So go ahead and bash me because I can see it coming but, I like all of In Flames’ albums and I feel that they can still put on one hell of a stage show.

it isn’t that one wants them to repeat their classics. people might evolve but one doesn’t have to choose to evolve into shit.

haha “embarassments”…that’s so anti-metal dude..its like you’re trying to be Jesus and say subjective shit that you think people might actually support or follow..

if you don’t like something..then who cares?..because there will always be somebody who does like it..and I don’t think they will ever need your approval..
