Rockstar Mayhem Tour Rumors

According to Alternative Press, there’s talk of OZZFEST alumni TRIVIUM and UNEARTH joining up with SLIPKNOT and DISTURBED this summer as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Tour.
If they do in land a spot on the bill, they’ll join a star studded lineup, which is currently as follows:
Main Stage
- Slipknot
- Disturbed
- Dragonforce
- Mastodon
Jagermeister Second Stage
- Sevendust
- Airbourne
- Five Finger Death Punch
- 36 Crazyfists
- Jagermeister Battle of the Bands Winner
Untitled Third Stage
- Machine Head
- Black Tide
- Suicide Silence
- The Red Chord
- Walls of Jericho

That would make this show alot better if Unearth and Trivium joined. This is shaping up to be a pretty good show. Much better than any ozzfest I’ve seen in a few years

Not sure if I’m liking how many bands are on here unless they plan on making it an all day affair like Ozzfest’s been. I’d hate to have both second stages playing at the same time and have to choose b/w who I want to watch.
they will prob both swap 20-25 minute sets mostly – w/ little turnover.
kind of like how radio-festivals do it. it will work. Plus theres only 5-6 bands on each stage

dear god im following this tour around for no less than 3 gigs. awsome line up. add trivium and unearth and the last 7 ozzfests just got showed up
but seriously, you this sucks bad.
meh…its okay..I’d probably go because Mastodon is on the bill…
I personally think Summer Slaughter 08 will be the show to see this year..

AWESOME! That will make up for Sevendust leaving! Now all they have to do is kick Dragonfags off…….
I don’t know where they got their information, but i just talked to Matt form Trivium on Trivium’s official myspace page, and this is wrong. Trivium will NOT be joining the tour. It fuckin sucks. No word from Unearth yet though. I’ll post as soon as I know for sure.
