Arsis, Skeletonwitch, Veil of Maya – Team Up For Tour Dates
Calling in from a fast food drive-thru somewhere in Bedford, New Hampshire en route to Mark’s Place on their current tour with EXODUS, ARSIS guitarist and vocalist Jim Malone is no stranger to the multi-tasking required of living life on the road.
“We’re really excited to be going out with SKELETONWITCH and VEIL OF MAYA because they’re both bad-ass bands! We Are The Nightmare’s release date is right around the corner, and we’ll do whatever it takes to help promote it. Noah [Martin, ARSIS bass player] has this crazy plan to set a world record this year, but more details on that later. In the meantime, I know these headlining shows will be crazy. Much thrash will ensue!”
Their follow-up to 2006’s United In Regret, We Are The Nightmare, the band’s debut on Nuclear Blast Records, is slated for release in North America on April 15th. Produced by Zeuss (Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste) at Planet Z Studios in Massachussetts and mastered by Alan Douches (Kataklysm, Unearth, Shadows Fall), the track listing for the new album is as follows:
01. We Are The Nightmare
02. Shattering The Spell
03. Sightless Wisdom
04. Servants To The Night
05. Failing Winds Of Hopeless Greed
06. Overthrown
07. Progressive Entrapment
08. A Feast For The Liar’s Tongue
09. My Oath To Madness
10. Failure’s Conquest
The band has already shot a video for the title track with director/producer David Brodsky (Diecast, Strapping Young Lad, Goatwhore). To view photos and read the details on how Jim Malone almost died, click here.

Did a life once lost drop off this tour?
Man, I hope so, ALOL are trash. =P
Arsis are utterly bomb. Don’t know VoM, but the name bodes well!
Saw Arsis last night, put on a good show
I want a Philly show.
