Detonation – Set to Be First Dutch Metal Band to Perform in India

Dutch melodic thrashers DETONATION will headline the Avalanche Festival in Delhi, India on February 22. Avalanche is the heavy-music portion of the four-day cultural Moksha festival, an annual event organized at the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (N.S.I.T.).
Commented the band: “Up to now, India hasn’t been the most obvious choice for metal bands to tour. Past few years, however, the Indian metal scene has been growing rapidly with a new breed a quality metal bands emerging, and with renowned international acts as MEGADETH, IRON MAIDEN and SEPULTURA announcing tours to India. We’re very excited to be among the first wave of international metal acts to play Indian and very proud to be the first heavy Dutch act ever to do so”

very fuckin cool, good for those guy. this band deserves a lot more attention. Epic Defiance and Portals to Uphobia are both ridiculously awesome melodic death. Honestly havent given the new one enough play to really say but from what Ive heard, it’s a solid trifecta theyve got going.
