In Flames – Sign To KOCH Records

KOCH Records has announced the signing of IN FLAMES. The band’s new album, A Sense Of Purpose, was mixed by Toby Wright (Metallica, Slayer) and will be released on April 1st, 2008.
KOCH Records VP of Metal Scott Givens says, “Adding a band at the level of IN FLAMES to the KOCH roster shows our commitment to the metal genre. They are poised to be one of the biggest metal bands in the world and we are thrilled to be chosen to help them make it happen.”

WTF? I was not aware that In Flames needed a new label
Was it in their contract they had to revert back to their old selves for the new record? Wishful thinking, I know…

i havent heard anything on this new album. when bands do updates alot of times theyll say how heavy it sounds, how kickass it sounds, blablabla. but this seemed a little more discreet. that cant be a good thing.
