Hawthorne Heights – Being Sued by Former Management for $138,000 – Legal Documents Available for Download
HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS are being sued in the State of Michigan by Wild Justice Records, the band’s former management firm, for the amount of $89,130 (plus interest and attorney fees, which amounts to $138,000).
Legal documents pertaining to the case state that HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS breached an oral and unsigned written agreement, and unjustly refused (or failed) to pay for fees relating to:
- Concerts which had been booked
- Merchandise sales which occurred during those concerts
- The acquisition of musical instruments and other band gear
- A commission on a sponsorship by Mountain Dew
- A loan in the amount of $800 to the Band.
