Nightwish, Paradise Lost – Pics From Montreal Show Posted Online

“We have uploaded series of high quality pictures of last night’s NIGHTWISH + PARADISE LOST gig in Montreal here and here.
It was Anette Olzon’s first stop in Canada and I can say that she nailed it solid, gaining the heart of everyone in the sold out Metropolis (2300 +). Even if NIGHTWISH had always received a warm welcome in Montreal on their previous 3 stops, this new gig was a true test for the new singer and she passed easily, singing both the new and old songs in a near perfect way. She did have a few flaws in “She Is My sin,” but nothing more than any other singer on any given night. She was particularly impressive on “Wishmaster” and “I Wish I Had An Angel” to close the show. They played a 1:45 set mostly taken from the latest album Dark Passion Play. PARADISE LOST opened the night with their precise progressive metal. PARADISE LOST plays a Quebec City headliner gig tonight at club Le Velvet while NIGHTWISH takes a day off in Montreal before Tuesday’s stop in Toronto.”
