Billboard Top 200 – Album Sales and Radio Magic; The Final Word

HIM’s new album, Venus Doom, debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top 200 charts with 38,637 units sold. Fans of the band have been able to pick up one of three different versions of the album ranging from the standard CD to a limited edition version that contains tons of little extras for hardcore fans. The band is currently preparing for the start of their US tour which kicks off on October 18 at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey. HIM will be on tour in the US till December and then will head back to Europe for the rest of 2007 into early 2008.

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER also entered the Billboard Top 200 Charts at #72 selling over 9,600 copies of their latest release Nocturnal which just came out on September 18. THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER landed on a total of four Billboard Charts including #7 Hard Music Albums, #20 Rock Albums, and #6 Independent Albums.

ATREYU have also been hard at work supporting the release of their new album, Lead Sails Paper Anchor. The first single off the album, “Becoming The Bull,” broke into the top 10 at Active Rock radio this week and hopes to buck it’s way up to the top spot.

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME ended up at #57 with over 12,000 of Colors sold.
