After emerging as Ozzfest 2007’s most talked about act, Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH will make their triumphant return to North America on October 18th as part of the month-long Radio Rebellion Tour. On August 15th, Nergal (vocals, guitars) stopped by MetalKult’s New York City headquarters for a video interview and riff lesson. Throughout the segments Nergal discusses his early years in Poland’s metal scene, the occult influences on his new album, The Apostasy, and BEHEMOTH’s signature blackened death metal sound. BEHEMOTH recently completed a new video for the track, “Prometherion,” shot by acclaimed director SOREN (All That Remains, Unearth). The clip is a frenetic, savage performance based video that perfectly showcases the band’s unrelenting energy and uncompromising vision.
