Led Zeppelin – Reunion Gig Almost Confirmed; Fans Warned of Ticket Touts
As the much hyped LED ZEPPELIN reunion gig nears, fans are being warned of ticket touts and false advertisements surrounding the yet-to-be-announced show. With Page, Paul-Jones, and Plant preparing to put aside almost two decades of differences, the trio will also reportedly welcome the son of drummer John Bonham into the fold. After briefly reunited at the Live Aid concert in Philadelphia in 1985 and at Atlantic Records‘ 40th birthday celebrations in 1988, one of the greatest rock bands of all time are ‘on the brink of’ announcing a show later on this year at London’s O2 Arena – with a full tour to follow.
My friend said he would hold his breath until this reunion happened. He died in 1986.
Can’t wait for this, if it even happens. I’d be willing to pay quite a bit to see the greatest rock and roll band of all time
i cant fucking stand this band
With any luck their plane will have a mid-air collision with Tool’s and the world will be rid of two horrid bands in one blink of an eye.
Demo Dick is an idiot.
Actually…Demo Dick’s comment was pretty funny. I wouldn’t mind Tool’s plane. But not the Mighty Zeppelin!
Zeppelin is nothing but a single hair on BLACK SABBATHS MIGHTY BALLS. ZEP IS NOTHING
LAME. Why can’t bands resist the temptation to fuck up their legacy.
Oh yeah…$$$$
Rock’s greatest band ceased to exist on 9-25-80, the instant that John Bonham died. The unique Zeppelin chemistry was lost forever with the passing of Bonzo, and though they remain enormously popular with a massive and devoted fan base of all ages, it can never again truly be called Led Zeppelin. Just a couple of points in response to the Sabbath comment. Before Black Sabbath had released their very first album, Led Zeppelin-II had already sold well over 3-million copies in the U.S. alone and Zeppelin were easily the biggest band in the world. It was Zeppelin who were the inspiration and starting point for countless bands that followed, good and bad. Sabbath was one of the good ones. If you doubt this then listen to the words of someone I suspect may be a hero of yours, Ozzy Osbourne: ” Everyone was knocked on their bloody asses when they first heard Led Zeppelin, and though it’s still painful for some of my peers to admit, nobody before or since has even come close to Zeppelin for consistent quality, scope, and enduring power in their music.” Sounds to me like Ozzy knows his music.
