ROB ZOMBIE has managed to secure some good oldies for the soundtrack to his version of Halloween, the movie. Tracklisting for the soundtrack, released August 21, precedes the premiere of the film which will be showcased on more than 2,000 screens on August 31.

i can’t listen to “Tom Sawyer” by Rush without thinking of the episode of family guy when Chester Cheetah is listening to the song while sorting Cheetos.
that, and the fact that The Misfits are on the soundtrack is a major plus for me.
Don’t forget KISS’ God of Thunder. I remember watching the original Halloween and thinking…Michael Myers is the original God of Thunder.
like him or not, rob has an ear for setting the mood. the devils rejects soundtrack was perfect. very cool.
