Circus Diablo – Drop Off Ozzfest
CIRCUS DIABLO frontman Billy Morrison has posted the following update:
“As I sit here in Dallas, TX, on the bus that has taken us from our home town of Los Angeles, to the middle of the South, it pains me to tell you all that we have to call it a day for now on the Ozzfest 2007. It has been a fantastic four weeks and we have had an amazing time. But two of our band, Ricky and Brett, have wives that are expecting babies any day now, and we just cannot continue heading east with that hanging over us. The guys need to be with their wives, and we all respect that. I hope you all understand that we have done our absolute best to get as far as we could this time around.
We will be heading back to Los Angeles tonight and we will regroup over the next few weeks and will be looking to head out again in support of our record in October. The babies will be well and truly in the world and fending for themselves by then! I hope that all you East Coast fans can hold on just a little longer — we will get there — you have my word.
So please try and understand — a HUGE thank you to Sharon and Ozzy for having us be a part of the Ozzfest 2007, and thanks to all the bands and audiences alike that made our experience so much fun. Until next time.”

I didn’t care for Circus Diablo anyway. Good new for those attending later shows. Unfortunately, I had to sit through one of their sets. Free is free so it is hard to complain.
