Mondo Generator – Drop Off This Year’s Ozzfest?
MONDO GENERATOR, which features Nick Oliveri (ex-QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE), reportedly missed yesterday’s (July 24th) Ozzfest stop at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ. The band has also been removed from the “bands” section of Ozzfest.com, thus furthering rumors that the band has dropped off the tour. An official announcement is expected to be released shortly.
NILE and DAATH also missed the show reportedly due to vehicle trouble.
Good! More time for the other, better bands!
fuck! they were one of the bands i was looking forward to!
Get back with Josh…Nick!
I agree with thewolfisloose, that will leave plenty of time for other bands. I doubt the bands will put on a longer setlist though. However, this would give the second stage bands an opportunity to play about one song each. We will see what time tomorrows show in Albuquerque, NM ends. If it ends early then we know that the bands aren’t playing any longer. I will be there!
OK, I just checked out the schedule. There will be a 40 minute break in between the second and main stage instead of the usual 20 minutes but that is all that I see. I don’t see why the concert still ends at 10:40 PM but they are missing a band.
they are starting 15 mins later, and the break is 20 mins longer…
bands arnt playing longer sets, which is bs!
