Wu-Tang Clan, Nas – Tour Dates Released
Guerilla Union’s Rock The Bells North American festival series will kickoff July 26th in Mansfield, MA and travel to 12 additional cities across the nation. As previously announced, WU-TANG CLAN and NAS will headline and be joined by CYPRESS HILL*, UGK*, TALIB KWELI, PHAROAHE MONCH, DAVID BANNER, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE and JEDI MIND TRICKS for the five week-long hip-hop extravaganza, hosted by freestyle legend Supernatural and Rahzel “The Godfather of Noyze.” (*Indicates will appear on selected dates.)
“After announcing our historic shows with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE & WU-TANG CLAN headlining earlier this year, we are overwhelmed with the enthusiasm of fans who want Rock The Bells brought to their cities. There is no other hip hop music festival more vital to the artists, community, and fans it serves than Rock The Bells,” says festival organizer Chang Weisberg. “We want to build an annual event in all of these cities to serve their musical communities and prove that quality hip-hop is NOT dead. Actually, over 130,000 people have already disproved the notion and bought their tickets. By the end of the summer, over 200,000 fans will have voted that quality lyricism and deft live performances are still very much alive.”

Hip Hop is NOT dead thanks to the folks at Guerilla Union for putting together this crazy line-up. Wu-Tang, Nas, The Roots. Speaking of the Roots Crew, Dice Raw and Truck North have been playing host to a series of dj battles currently going on from city to city brought to you by Yaris. This week’s battle is taking place in ATL and will be hosted by Hot 107.9’s E4Real. Winner gets a radio one guest spot & 2 G’s. Wanna be down check out http://www.yarisversusyaris.com/. I work with them thats how i know.
Im already seeing Wutang this year at virgin fest, but itd be amazing to see immortal technique.
you close minded metal people are confusing. you diss groups/artists like Kottonmouth Kings and Esham yet you go bananas about Nas?
that’s because KMK is a joke. dumb stoner nu-mteal.
The prob w/ KMK is that once you’ve heard one song, you’ve heard them all. There’s very very little variety from song to song. It’s all smoke weed/drink beer/smoke more weed/smoke even more weed/pass out…….
And that’s from a KMK fan. I like em but they are extremely linear.
And not to mention – most of the cats on here that listen to hip-hop listen heavily to east coast LYRICISTS. Cage, Psycho+Logical, Immortal Technique, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Wu-Tang, Nas, Jay-Z, JMT – guys that put a lot of time into the verbal aspects of their songs as opposed to somebody like a Three 6 Mafia who, while I enjoy the shit out of them, can’t rap for shit but can craft one hell of a beat…… It’s all preference based. Some people like more complex, thought provoking writtens – others like Nelly and KMK, the simple shit. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with either it’s just a matter of opinion……
And Esham owns BTW……
give me three six and the westcoast shit
lol @ Kottonmouth Kings even being put in the same league as Nas.
Esham is cool.
God you ppl are dumb. If you ppl knew anything about music you would see how much more talented KMK are then Wu-tang or anyone else out there
I’m still trying to figure out for myself if $100 is worth it to see RATM @ RTB. There are some pretty decent acts on the bill but the only thing that would make me buy a ticket is RATM, and they will most likely be out touring next year for a lot less.
damn this sounds pretty good i might go to the one on august 4
