SOiL – Crash Music to Re-Issue 1999 Release “Throttle Junkies” as DigiPack

Crash Music announced today that they have signed a deal with SOiL to re-issue their 1999 release Throttle Junkies. The new version will be in digipack format and contain three bonus tracks, including the bands version of of RAM JAM’s classic hit “Black Betty.”

Chicago’s SOiL burst onto the scene in 1998 with their indie release, El Chupacabra. The band then signed with the  now defunct MIA Records who only pressed up a couple thousand copies of the bands album Throttle Junkies. In 2001, the band signed with Clive Davis’ J Records and released Scars, which included the hit ‘Halo’. The band quickly ended up in the upper echelons of the hard rock genre, and in 2004, the band released Re.de.fine to strengthen their already rock solid foundation of fans. The band went on to release True Self in 2006 and have been touring the world non stop. SOiL has sold over 380,000 combined albums in the United States and have had two Top 15 singles at Active Rock radio. Throttle Junkies will be in stores on August 14th, 2007.
