KoRn – Untitled Album to be Released July 31 Through Virgin/EMI

On July 31, Virgin Records will release the eighth studio album from the multi-platinum, award-winning hard rock band KORN.  The untitled album was produced by KORN’s See You On The Other Side producer Atticus Ross (known for his revolutionary work with NIN).  In releasing an album with no title singer Jonathan Davis commented, ”We didn’t want to label this album.  It has no boundaries; it has no limits and why not just let our fans call it whatever they wanna call it?”

This is the 4th album (the second studio) to be released through the ground-breaking partnership among KORN and Virgin Records established in 2005 by EMI, and the Firm to create a diversified business relationship operating KORN’s recording, publishing, touring, sponsorship and merchandising businesses.   In 2006, tour promotion giant Live Nation, which promotes the Family Values Tour, became an investor in the partnership.

Seriously, you shouldn’t be allowed to have more than one untitled album. That’s just stupid.

the first album is the only one that should be self titled – unless the album cover has a distinguishing look that everyone can agree on (black album, white album, etc).

and really, you’re gonna tell me korn couldn’t think of a name for their new record? just name the fucking thing guys. it really isn’t that hard.

It not SELF TITLED!!!! Can you not read? It is Untiled…..meaning their is no title. I kind of like the idea, it makes it a conversation piece.
