I have nothing against this band. Sure, they are generic metal just like Trivium and Atreyu. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. However, I am against these artists releasing different versions of their albums later down the line. Artists should release their special editions right from the beginning. Fans of the artist shouldn’t have to purchase the same material again just to get some extra bonus content.

If you are going to release a special edition of your album, fine. Just make sure you do it when the album is initially released. Don’t make fans shell out $30 or more just to hear 4 bonus tracks.

re-releases and “special” editions are quite popular these days among many bands of different genres. unfortunately, about 8 out of 10 of these releases never have anything great to offer.
