Dekapitator – New Album Details / Tour Dates

Bay Area thrashers DEKAPITATOR are currently preparing for the release of their Relapse Records debut The Storm Before The Calm.

The Storm Before The Calm is set for a July 24th North American release date (July 30th internationally) and features nine all new songs from the band (Matt Hellfiend: Killsaw & Deathroat / Dan Bulldoze: Subsonic Nuclear Wimp and Metalcore Crusher / “Atomic” Andy Maniac: Rapid-Fire Explosive Ordinance Assaults). DEKAPITATOR has posted to two preview tracks, “Toxic Sanctuary” and “Run With The Pack,” along with the album art from The Storm Before The Calm exclusively via the band’s MySpace page.

DEKAPITATOR has also announced a number of tour dates in support of The Storm Before The Calm’s upcoming release. The band will be among the featured artists at this year’s Goregon Massacre Fest in Portland, OR along with ABSCESS, GHOUL, NUNSLAUGHTER and more, in addition to their shows in the local California Bay Area.     It’s their music I don’t like, not their appearance.
    Neither they, AMBER ASYLUM or the clown-like ‘ritual’ bottom of the Bill ( who, of course, do wear make-up, not to mention drag) have any place on a Black Metal show.
    No one would cross the street to hear them play for free, so they leech onto the MAYHEM bill, right?
    LUDICRA, of course, is excepted from my comments.
