    Good interview.

  2. DethOrgy says:

You know i really hate the direction trent is pushing NIN.. But the man still has class and this interview proves that.

  3. ThisIsNot says:

Granted, his direction is different. I kinda like it as Reznor is pushing NIN more towards their classic sound. Still, I am not too into Year Zero. Either way, his political views on the recording industry are pretty much spot on.

  4. rammstien says:

“I will look forward to the Black Eyed Peas ARG. That should be amazing.”

  6. ASOmartin says:

year zero is fucking awesome (save one song) and nullifies the bad dream that was with teeth.

  7. kyokushinadam says:

If no one is listening to him anymore, how did he sell out arenas across the country?

  8. rammstien says:

off his old shit its like all use to be good bands make money off there old shit. people go to hear old songs they know and love not him talk or his new shit

  9. xdevilbunny says:

wrong. go listen to du hast somewhere.

  10. rammstien says:

listen to du hast whats thats soposed to mean please explain

  11. ThisIsNot says:

Listen to Du Hast means that you should stop right now and go listen to Du Hast. I think they are trying to say the same thing about Rammstein and I have to agree. Although I like their newer work, most US fans like the material from the Du Hast era and that is it.

I think Reznor is wrong about d/l. I do not believe d/l is stealing, despite what Metallica, Congress, and the RIAA kept trying to brainwash everyone into believing.

I am a published author and I lose money every day from these little things called libraries. Also, when someone lends a copy of my book to a friend. Say, bye-bye cash. But, I know that this builds word-of-mouth and if people like my work, they will go out and purchase my back catalogue. Same with music. If your work is good enough the d/l public will go out and purchase it. Besides, you have touring, merchandise, etc to earn extra streams of income. As a writer, I am pretty much limited to that book sale.
