Hell Yeah – Jerry Montano Allegedly Punches Tom Maxwell in the Face and States “I am going to go get a gun, come back and shoot everyone!”
The Metal Den has leaked to SMNnews a full story surrounding the alleged set of events that led to the departure of bassist Jerry Montano from all star metal act HELL YEAH. After punching NOTHINGFACE and HELL YEAH bandmate Tom Maxwell in the face, and standing up at the Vinnie Paul owned gentleman’s club The Clubhouse cursing, yelling, and finally stating “I am going to go get a gun, come back and shoot everyone!” – in the presence of the brother of the late Dimebag Darrell – Montano was forcibly led away from the scene by security. Montano has subsequently been replaced by former DAMAGEPLAN bassist Bobzilla on all upcoming HELL YEAH dates.

I’m kinda surprised Vinnie Paul didn’t step up and kick his ass for the gun comment. That’s a pretty fucked up thing to say to somebody who lost their brother due to a crazy fuck with a gun.
I have a fucked up sense of humor and even I couldnt find anything to laugh about in this story. What kind of a douchebag do you have to be to say something like that after what Vinnie went through?

I was at the CD release party in the VIP area and here is exactly what happened:
Montano was arguing with this chick he was dating that worked at the clubhouse. Montoya not a small dude and this girl couldn’t have been more than 5′3″ 110 lbs., maybe. He was dragging her around by the arm and every time she would walk away from him he would walk over grab her and literally drag her back to where he was yelling at her. Finally, another dancer took her into the dressing room and Montano stormed off. Me, my buddy, and the guys from Rikets where standing there talking to Juliya from Fuse when Montano comes blowing back by knocks my buddy over into our table and goes storming into the dressing room after this girl and 2 cops and about 5 security guys go flying in after him and put him on the ground. They got the girl out of the room and they escorted him back thru the VIP area. He got to the other end of the VIP area and started arguing with Tom Maxwell. Then he punched Maxwell in the face, which is actually a pretty common occurence with Maxwell since he likes to fight for fun (he offered me a shot of whatever I wanted if I would punch him in the face, not to fight just cuz he wanted to get hit), got drug out of the club, and then said he was gonna get a gun and come back and shoot everyone. The guy is a stupid prick that believes he is much more famous than he actually is. Kinda tells you what people think of him when his own bandmate from Nothingface sticks up for him.
Did you ever think that maybe Tom deserved it?
