Static-X – Announced As Final Main Stage Band At Ozzfest 2007

As exclusively revealed here first by SMNnews.com, STATIC-X have finally been announced as the final main stage band at this year’s free Ozzfest. The festival billing is as follows:

Exactly. Lamb of God and Ozzy Osbourne alone are worth it for free, at least to me.
I agree that this isn’t the best lineup but it is FREE dammit. You can’t complain about free shit. If you do, then you are either rich, spoiled, or you don’t deserve it. Lamb Of God, Ozzy Osbourne, Behemoth, and 3 Inches Of Blood for free? Hell yeah.

But there’s still possibilities of more bands getting added. Remember, Arsis and Into Eternity have been announcing at concerts that they’re doing Ozzfest.
Also, Alice In Chains is still in the possibility line. On their webiste, they say that their summer tour is still in the open, and they can’t announce what it is until they’re given the “OK” for it. Also, there’s a poll on the main page that says “Are you a fan of outdoor festivals?”…
AIC is touring with Velver Revolver.
This is such a disappointment.

They’re only announced 2 dates with them. So far, they say rumors are only rumors right now. But I do know that this would fall in with Ozzfest and Velvet Revolver

There is no way that Into Eternity will be playing since they’re be touring with Dream Theater, which will practially run during the same time at Ozzfest.
You can count them out.
It’s Into Eternity! They’d play ANY Metal festival at any time!
How many great bands do you really think are going to play for free? The one who makes out the best is Ozzy his cd is gonna sell a lot just to get those tickets.
Arsis is also doing Summer Slaughter so count them out
Summer Slaughter ends on July 8th. Ozzfest starts on July 12th. That’s more than enough time for Arsis.
ozzy, hatebreed and ankla are the best bands there. my opinion.
Static-x will be a good main stage band in my opinion. Fairly heavy and will make for some rowdy pits. I love Ozzfest for the atmosphere, I have been to every Ozzfest since 99′ and will continue to attend every ozzfest because Its a fun filled day of big mosh pits, a couple cute chicks, sun, and crazy fun people. Screw all of the i’m to cool for ozzfest haters!!

summer slaughter has more bands worth seeing overall, and it’s only $15 8)
worst Ozzfest lineup ever, i would rather pay and see more and better bands on there, of course Ozzy is the man, but the lineup is weak. since its free everyone is gonna want to go, and the tixx are gonna be hard to get, there are only so many seats folks…………….

Lineup Sux! Yeah so it’s free but You Still Have To Pay For Gas & Sit in The Heat I’d Rather Pay And Go See Good Bands….. But Great For Thoes Of You That Like The Lineup.
