Dimmu Borgir – Enter Billboard Charts

In Sorte Diaboli, DIMMU BORGIR’s eighth studio album which was released last week on April 24th, has sold over 14,000 copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan, securing the #2 slot on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart and #43 slot on the Top 200 Albums chart, marking the highest charting album debut in Nuclear Blast USA’s history.

DIMMU BORGIR guitarist Silenoz checks in from Chicago on the band’s current tour with UNEARTH, DEVILDRIVER, and KATAKLYSM to comment on this momentous achievement for Norwegian black metal:
