Am I alone in saying that I hate Tom Morello with every ounce of my being?
At least if the guy kept his mouth shut about politics, I would only rip on him for his boring guitar playing. But nope, he has two strikes against him.
Strum strum the same thing for about 2.5 minutes, then be “creative” by making stupid noises for 45 seconds, then round off the rest of the song with the same strum from before. Bleh, I hate the guy.
What a horrible list…all of the band/songs he mentioned are awful.
And yes, Tom Morello is a turd, nothing he has ever done was any good, he sucks.
Rage Against the Machine sucks, Audioslave sucks, he sucks.
Imagine sucks? You are a fool.
Imagine is probably the worst song ever written. Aside from RATM’s catalogue.

I’m a republican, and I love Tome Morello. Not for his politics of course, but he is a major influence on me as a guitar player. The “strum, strum” comment above is ludicrous, he always comes up with great, Sabbath-esque riffs. As for his leads, while they may sound weird to the casual listener, anyone who knows music can tell that they are drenched in melody.
Oooh, look out, a liberal that sees someone that doesn’t hold the same viewpoint as him is calling Republicans dumb. So typical.
And Imagine FUCKING SUCKS.
