Ozzfest 2007 – Static-X to be Final Main Stage Band?
Monday, April 30, 2007
After all the rumors that circled for months claiming that ALICE IN CHAINS would indeed take to the main stage of OZZFEST 2007…it turns out that a band led by a man with very pointy hair, and a sweet beard (read: long time rockers STATIC-X), could be the final piece of the main stage puzzle. SMNnews has heard of some swirling rumors that could yet prove to be correct. Stay tuned for any forthcoming news or announcements.
Been hearing about this for weeks. Alice In Chains may still do it, who knows? Just like last year when Dragonforce was added with Avenged Sevenfold when we were expecting only one band.
However, other reports have been circulating that Arsis and Into Eternity have been announcing at concerts that they’re also going to be doing Ozzfest, possibly Second Stagers.
i also read somewheres that Down could possibly be taking the main stage spot.
Would like to see Static-X back @ Ozzfest
Arsis are on Summer Slaughter tho.. but whatever.
Alice In Chains would be nice.. I suppose.
I’d prefer Down.
Wikipedia is saying Static-X and Devildriver on Main Stage with Arsis and Into Eternity taking non-rotating spots on second stage. but then again, Wikipedia isn’t the most reliable source either (that’s where I read the possibility of Down being on Main Stage)
This would be awesome, as I just missed their show here. Would be attending at night. Fuck the heat all day.
NOOOOOOOO! Fuck that, please let it be down or AIC.
I was hoping for Linkin Park.
it is static x for sure
I vote Kelly Clarkson.
Maybe a few more acts will appear (like how Dragonforce got a spot last year) and some added shows (DC area). That would be nice.
LAME.
im hoping its DOWN but Static-X wouldnt be terrible
dragonforce was terrible, they suck,,,,,,, they need alot more than one more band to fill out the Ozzfest lineup… if thats it for bands i may not go for the first time since the thing came around my area in 97.
lame… static x is horrible….. how many songs can you possibly write consisting of strummed open chords over a simplistic drum beat?
