Former MALEVOLENT CREATION drummer David Kinkade has been tirelessly plugging away to ensure his new non-profit organization METAL 4 PETS gets noticed across the metal community, and is urging you to take an active part in it’s mission:
“METAL 4 PETS has been alive for exactly 1 week and already, I have received THOUSANDS of emails from supporters asking where to send money and buy merch. The response hit me completely out of left field and has been awesome. Its really great to see that so many people actually care and want to help me in the fight against animal abuse.”
“As for the ‘few’ people who had no faith in this and talked it down from day 1, all I have to say to you is – Take a look in the mirror and ask yourself…..If I actually put forth effort in life towards something good, rather than hoping my acquaintances who I use for convenience will accept me because I have such a self-confidence issue and always think people are looking at me, would I have the knowledge and patience to succeed in life? I think not. I think ANYONE who has to rip on the fact that someone cares for animals and wants to help the unfortunate ones, is the kind of person I wouldn’t want to ever meet or have buy my music. Grow up……..”
“Finally, I want to extend a huge thanks to the staff at SMNNEWS.COM. You guys are awesome. I have publicly boycotted Blabbermouth.net because the webmaster, who seems like the type of person who fits the description, listed a few sentences above, refuses to post anything of this nature. I might play metal but if it doesn’t involve a drug over dose, facelift, who is in whose band or other pointless drama, he wont post it. All I have to say there is I really hope that tool doesn’t have animals.”
