Slipknot – Confirmed to Record Another Album – To Hit Studio Before `07 is Over

San Antonio, Texas’ Kiss FM is reporting that SLIPKNOT will in fact be releasing another studio album, and will begin recording sometime before 2007 is out. In the interim, STONE SOUR will proceed as planned with Jim Root and Corey Taylor spending some adequate time on the road through summer.

I’m not really into SlipKnot but I can admit they are one of the best bands I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve seen tons. They may just be a gimic and Corey Taylor may be a huge douche bag, but live they are awesome and I’ll definitely go see them again.
I posted this news story and what can I say as a huge maggot fan that I am thrilled to hear this. Fucking-A the new cd is going to be badass
