Queens of the Stone Age – Find Permanent Bassist in the form of Michael Shuman

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have reportedly added Michael Shuman to the band’s rank as their official 4-stringer, according to Yahoo!’s Launch. Formerly of LA based WIRES OF FIRE, Shuman will replace Alain Johannes on bass after the latter filled in following the departure of Nick Oliveri in 2004.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE will release “Era Vulgaris” in mid-June.

I loved Alain Johannes, but he was a better guitar player. When i saw them, they switched instruments after every song.
so is the dude from death from above gonna have some recorded tracks on the album?
never heard of him hope hes good but i trust josh.
Yes, struckanerve, they are gonna use him in a few songs, like they use lannegan, or any other person who josh feels like bringing in.
